Shark Tank India: Lenskart Founder Peyush Bansal Asks For Rs 1 Crore

As the Shark Tank India show is gearing up for its finale week, SonyLiv revealed crucial information about the show in a recent promo. In the promo that has been going viral, Lenskart founder Peyush Bansal, who is himself a shark on the show, is seen standing on the other side of the table as he pitches Lenskart. Peyush Bansal asks his fellow sharks for Rs 1 crore investment in his company, Lenskart. The shark just turns into a pitcher himself recreating the 2010 pitch, leaving his fellow sharks in splits.  SonyLiv shared the promo and wrote: "The tables will turn! While Emcure Pharmaceuticals' Executive Director Namita Thapar reacts: "Woahhhh", Sugar Cosmetics CEO Vineeta Singh says: "75 percent apne business ka doge? (will you give 75 percent of your business share)?" However, co-founder of boAt, Aman Gupta gets a little carried away and says: "Aaj se kuch 5 saal pahle main bhi waise hi khada tha investors ke saamne. Main chahta hu ab aap yaha baethoge jahan main baetha hoon (Some 5 years back, I was also standing in front of investors just like you. Now I want you to sit where I am sitting right now)." Well, the show Shark Tank India is almost coming to an end. During its run, it received quite a positive response from the viewers. However, the show did throw shark and co-founder of BharatPe, Ashneer Grover in a pool of controversies.
