All You Need To Know About The SBI PO Recruitment 2022


The State Bank of India has issued a job notification for Probationary Officers. The SBI PO Recruitment 2022 Online Application will be active from April 2022. The State Bank of India has declared openings for Probationary Officers across its various offices. Candidates who are interested and eligible can apply online by following the link provided in the official notification. Eligibility Criteria Qualification A bachelor's degree from a recognized university in any discipline or an equivalent certification recognized by the Central Government. Those in their final year/semester of study may also apply provisionally. A caveat has to be submitted to this effect that if summoned for an interview, the candidates have to present confirmation of passing their graduation exam on or before December 31, 2021. Applicants with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) should make certain that their IDD was completed on or before December 31, 2021. Candidates with a Chartered Accountancy background are also eligible to apply. Age Limit Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 30 as of April 1, 2021, i.e., candidates should have been born between April 1, 2000, and April 2, 1991. Age Relaxation In addition, as per government regulations, there is relaxation in age for specific categories of candidates. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) – 5 years OBC Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 years PWD – 10 years Persons residing in J&K from January 1, 1980, to December 31, 1989 – 5 years Ex defense personnel (soldiers) – 5 years Application Procedure Requisites Candidates can only apply online from April 2022. No other application method will be approved. Applicants must have a legitimate email address and phone number that will remain active until the results are announced. The said email ID and contact are required to receive any related bank communication through email or SMS. Guidelines Applicants must register online at https://bank.sbi.co.in/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers on the Bank's 'Career' website. Candidates must pay the necessary application fee online using bank cards or through Internet Banking after completing the registration process. Application Fee Intimation Fee and Application Fee are non-refundable For SC/ST/PWD - no charges and no fees Rs. 750/- for General and Other (Application Fee that includes intimation charges) Selection Procedure Preliminary Exam The preliminary SBI PO exam will be conducted online and will comprise a 100-mark Objective Test. The test will be divided into three sections (each with its own set of timings): Main Exam The aggregate marks achieved in the Preliminary Exam will be used to create a category-wise merit list. There would be no cut-off for sections. Applicants totaling 10 times the number of slots in each category will be shortlisted for the Main Exam.  The Main Exam will be online and consist of 200-mark Objective Tests and a 50-mark Descriptive Test. The Descriptive Test will be given right after the Objective Test. The objective test will last three hours and consist of four sections totaling 200 marks. Each section will have its separate timing. Conclusion SBI PO 2022 Exam applicants will be required to qualify the exam in both Phases II and III independently. To create the final merit list, the marks acquired in the Main Exam (Phase-II) shall be added to the marks scored in Phase-III. To prepare the final merit list for selection, the marks achieved in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) shall not be added. The SBI PO exam 2022 is likely to take place in July 2022.
