On Tuesday, the Film Federation of India (FII) named Pan Nalin directed Gujarati film Chhello Show as India's official entry to the 2023 Oscars. Nalin's Gujarati coming-of-age drama is a semi-biography of the director, whose love for the big screen has captured the hearts of critics and audiences across the world. The passion and struggle of a young Gujarati boy are presented in such a way that the jury nominated the film over other big hits of 2022 namely RRR and The Kashmir Files.
