Koffee With Karan 7: Ranveer Singh Sarcastically Calls Alia Bhatt ‘Genius of the Year’
Koffee with Karan is an Indian talk show hosted by filmmaker and producer Karan Johar and produced by Dharmatic, the digital content division of his production company, Dharma Productions. The show debuted on 19 November 2004 and has aired 6 seasons in over seventeen years. Disney Star distributes the show; its first 6 seasons aired on Star World India (2004–2019), with the season 2 simulcasted on Star One (2007). In 2022, Koffee with Karan made its OTT debut and moved over to Disney+ Hotstar as a streaming exclusive under the service's label and content hub, Hotstar Specials. It is the 2nd longest-running talk show after Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan on Indian Hindi-language television and one of the most-watched Indian English-language television shows. The show also won an Indian Television Academy Award in 2007 for Best Talk Show and Best Talk Show Anchor.
The First Episode - Alia Bhatt Creates a Stir Again!
Koffee With Karan Season 7 began with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, and the teaser already made everyone excited about the entire episode. Without understanding the question, she jumps up to the answer and says: “When Karan Johar will get married…” before she completes, Karan laughs off and says: “Are to my marriage, your marriage,” Ranveer takes a hilarious tone and sarcastically calls Alia 'Genius of The Year.’Oh boy, no, Alia, not again. Alia Bhatt has faced much trolling for her first appearance in Koffee With Karan, where she had said that Prithviraj Chauhan is the President of India, and since then, the diva has been considered a dumb by the netizens. However, Alia has come a long way, she was just a kiddo who started and was excited about anything and everything, but now the girl thinks twice when she makes any statement. But Karan Johar's show keeps the celebrities on fire, and they talk without filter, especially Alia. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh were seen sharing the Koffee couch for the first time. The Gully Boy couple Alia and Ranveer will be next seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, directed by Karan Johar. The filmmaker will be directing after 6 years; his last film was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil featuring Ranbir Kapoor.
