Navya Naveli Nanda’s Podcast ‘What the Hell Navya’ Faces Backlash Yet Again, Know Why!
Legendary Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda has come up with her own podcast ‘What the Hell Navya’ which has been the talk of the town for all the wrong reasons lately. The young lady is trying to establish herself in the entertainment industry, and considering the popularity of the podcasts, she has started one to communicate with her audience.
In the podcast, What the Hell Navya, the host, Navya Naveli Nanda, calls her friends, family and other people from the industry for a candid chat. Recently Navya called her grandmother Jaya Bachchan and her mother, Shweta Bachchan, in the show. Unfortunately, everything talked about in the show didn’t go well with a lot of her audience.
From the latest Bollywood news, people are hearing a lot from Navya’s chat show, and all of it is related to backlashes and anger.
In one of the recent episodes, Jaya Bachchan talked about having a child out of wedlock, and she expressed her views by saying that she won’t have any problem if her granddaughter chooses to be a mother out of wedlock. However, as expected, the statement didn’t go well with the audience, and people started calling out the veteran actor for her insensitive views on the subject, as mentioned earlier.
While the Indian audience was still taking up this issue on social media, another statement by Shweta Bachchan in the same episode started getting all the more attention. The Bachchan’s daughter said she worked as a teacher to make Rs. 3000 a month, and her statement didn’t really go well with the Twitter audience.

The daughter of the Bachchan empire, Shweta, a columnist and an entrepreneur, said she started her career as a kindergarten teacher, earning Rs 3000 a month. However, her statement made people burst on the internet. The audience began pointing her for running off at the mouth. Some of them also called out the celebrity for being insensitive to people who genuinely struggle to make a living.
As reported by NDTV, in the conversation with her daughter and Jaya Bachchan, Shweta said: “I was never educated on managing finances, and then after I got married and was in Delhi, I had a job as an assistant teacher in a kindergarten, Learning Tree. There I got a salary of around ₹ 3000 a month. I used to put this money in the bank,” Shweta highlighted the issue of being unable to manage her finances, and she thought her mother was the reason for her lack of aptitude in finance.
As soon as NDTV reported this aspect from the conversation, netizens burst out. One user wrote: “Earning ₹3000 a month and sustaining with ₹3000 a month are two different things. Aren’t they?,”
Another user said: “She is so brave for this, I wouldn’t have survived with ₹3000 a month living in a ₹300 cr bungalow,” One of the users also pointed out the media handle and said: “What an inspirational story that had to be covered by NDTV,”
That’s all from this week’s Bollywood updates. No matter how hard it gets, but it is quite positive to see young children come out in the cruel world to try their luck in the career they choose. So, kudos to Navya Naveli Nanda.
