Pyar Ke Pal - The Last Track of KK’s Life - We Will Miss You!


‘Hum rahe ya na rahe kal…… Pal yaad aayenge pal’  'Pal' was the debut solo Studio Album by Indipop artist and Playback Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, aka KK, which also became the last track of his life. The singer took his last breath after falling ill during a live music performance at the Ultadanga Gurudas Mahavidyalaya at the Nazrul Mancha stage, Kolkata, on Tuesday.  According to the sources, he was not feeling well and requested the event managers to stop the spotlights. He said: “Turn off the spotlight, I am not feeling well,” to the organizers on stage, and soon slumped, officials added. He was immediately taken to the CMRI Hospital in Alipore, where doctors declared the legendary singer KK dead.  https://www.instagram.com/p/CeNsAUvotzV/   According to the sources, the AC of the hall KK was performing in was not working. The singer was sweating very severely and continuously requesting that management to switch on the AC and turn off some lights. According to a fan who attended the concert, the management was not good because there were people who broke the gate and entered the concert without passes. https://twitter.com/timesofindia/status/1531900014477291521   Doctors said that the cause of the death could be 'cardiac arrest'. A senior officer of the Kolkata Police informed the media that a post-mortem would be conducted today to know the exact reason for the death. KK's family will be arriving in Kolkata for the funeral rites. He was in his early 50's and survived by 2 children and a wife.  Minister Aroop Biswas, the Power Minister of West Bengal, rushed to the hospital after hearing the news. He said: “I was coming home from the office. I got a call in the middle. I heard he was brought dead here. I am talking to his family, those who were coming from Mumbai." The End of An Era In The Indian Music Industry 

KK made his Bollywood debut with Chor Aaye Hum Woh Galiya, Maachis (1996). But it was the song Tadap Tadap Ke from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam that is considered the most established song of his career. One of his most popular music albums and his debut solo album is 'Pal'. Listening to his song 'Pal' takes one to the world of nostalgia.  KK's family and fans can't accept him saying goodbye to the world in such a way. Tuesday night was a very tough night for the entire Indian music industry. The night left everyone speechless.   It is challenging to believe singer Krishnakumar Kunnath dead, and that he is no longer with us. On social media, his fans and friends are pouring out their emotions for KK.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi also tweeted: “Saddened by the untimely demise of noted singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK. Black Era of The Indian Music Industry 

The death of KK wrecked Singer Armaan Malik. Grieving the loss of the singer, Armaan Malik called 2022 'black year for Indian Music' due to the death of legendary singers including Lata Mangeshkar, Bappi Lahiri, Sidhu Moosewala and now KK in the same year.  Armaan Malik tweeted: “Extremely sad and devastated. Another shocking loss for all of us. Can't believe our KK sir is no more… what is even happening. Lata didi, Bappi da, Sidhu paaji and now KK sir. A few days later, in February, the disco king Bappi Lahiri died due to multiple health issues at 69. A few days back, Punjabi singer-rapper Sidhu Moosewala had a terrible accident and was killed on May 29 aged 28.   

We Will Miss You KK!

KK’s untimely death has left the entire nation shocked and in grief. The country is mourning the end of a prominent singer. Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal wrote a note saying: “Your magical voice will live on forever; Thank you for your evergreen songs. RIP KK!”  Actor Rajkummar Rao and Vivek Oberoi also expressed their grief. Actor Varun Dhawan took to Twitter and wrote: “Extremely shocked and sad by the passing away of our beloved KK.
