However, one Twitter user recently chastised the actress for her strained ‘Himachali’ accent. While tagging Raveena, the user commented that apart from Raveena Tandon and others striving to get the Himachali accent to perfection, Aranyak carried no other distinct blemishes! The user also added that the dialogue delivery was a nightmare. He also stressed that since he is a half-Himachali and grew up there, he had the right to comment.
#Arnayak gets a lot of things right other than @TandonRaveena and others trying to get the Himachali accent right! It is horrendous.
Qualified to say this because of being half-Himachali and because I grew up there.

Raveena Tandon Twitter handle duly responded with a counter tweet. She sarcastically quipped that she was unaware that the Sironah suburb does really exist! She pretended to have been taken aback that the person in question once belonged to that small town.
Kasturi Dogra (Raveena Tandon), who plays a tough small-town cop, is the lead character in the web series titled Aranyak. It is an eight-part series based on a fictional Himachal Pradesh village that channels a popular mountainous terrain misconception. It tells about a half-human creature who is also half-animal. Parambrata Chatterjee, who plays the fellow cop, is close on Raveena’s heels and keeps a protective eye on her in a phased manner.
Humans and animals alike fall prey to predatory critters. A nar-leopard is on the loose, and it’s focus is praying helpless young women. It had been 19 years since this had happened in Sironah. The culprit of a series of rape and murders inflicted on women was never found. The assailant has reappeared after 19 years! Is it a human impersonating an animal?
This murder-mystery-thriller, produced by Rohan Sippy, directed by Vinay Waikul, and written by Charudutt Acharya, has no shortage of mystery and thrills. As the story progresses, a host of characters emerge– some with sufficient depth and others underdeveloped.
Raveena Tandon amply proves that she still has ample talent to show. She reminds the audience of her prime Bollywood years. In this series, there is always an actress par excellence to perform. She is unafraid of coming across as crass and boorish. She can often toughen up and sometimes soften up depending on the situation, even if her unrefined accent breaks.
So, when somebody on social network ceremoniously trolls her for her unruly accent, it seems intentional to gain attention. It is not surprising that Raveena Tandon on Twitter has returned on the same coin!
