Samantha Accuses Karan Johar ‘You Are The Reason For Unsuccessful Marriages’

After 6 victorious seasons, Koffee With Karan has become a synonymous of gossips and controversies. And it looks like season 7 is going to be no different. The trailer for Koffee with Karan 7 was unveiled recently, giving a peek at how the upcoming season of Karan Johar's popular show will look like. The list of this season's celebrity guests isn't available yet, but the trailer revealed exciting matches. Ranveer Singh will be paired with his Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani co-star Alia Bhatt; Anil Kapoor with Varun Dhawan, and Ananya Panday will be seen with her Liger co-star Vijay Deverakonda. Other pairs include Akshay Kumar with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sara Ali Khan with Janhvi Kapoor, and Kiara Advani with Shahid Kapoor.  The trailer had several highlights of the show, including Ranveer Singh saying that he has multiple sex playlists, Sara Ali Khan making a facetious comment about her ex, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu accusing Karan Johar of being the reason behind many unhappy marriages.    Samantha Ruth Prabhu will make her Koffee With Karan debut this season. The female actor will be sharing the couch with Akshay Kumar on the show. In the recent trailer, the actress blamed Karan Johar and said he was the reason for unhappy marriages. Reportedly, the actress also spoke about her divorce with Naga Chaitanya on the show.  Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently shot for her Koffee With Karan 7 episode. The talk show will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from July 7 onwards. The actress said: “You are the reason for unhappy marriages. You have portrayed life as K3G [Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham]. The actress is now waiting for the release of director Gunasekhar's Shaakuntalam, which is in the post-production stage. She also has director duo Hari-Harish's Yashoda, Vijay Deverakonda's Kushi and her first foreign film 'Arrangements of Love'. Karan told Film Companion: “Everyone is so like, 'will you ask me about this', 'will you not ask me about this.' Can you cut that out? I mean what happened to candour and I mean what happened to good old repartee and casual interview? I mean I have got cricketers into trouble and I don't even have anything to do with them yet I have even managed to do that,”  Karan Johar disclosed that actor Ranbir Kapoor has refused to do the show, because he said that public perception can be shaped on one's performance on the couch. The host shared what Ranbir told him: ‘I am not coming on your show. He is like I have to pay the price for this for too long. Why should I do this to myself. He said love you and I'll meet you at your house and talk to you. You give me coffee at home. But please I am not coming for the show,’ The new edition of the show will have a OTT premier. Previous seasons have aired on Star World. However, the show will now be streaming on Disney+Hotstar from July 7.
