Shahid Kapoor Starrer Jersey To Release On 31st December; Trailer Out Tomorrow

On Monday, actor Shahid Kapoor took to social media and announced the release date of his much-anticipated film Jersey which has been on hold for two years due to the covid-19 pandemic. The actor also released the Jersey movie poster, and fans are excited to see Shahid Kapoor's comeback on the big screen after the superhit film Kabir Singh.  The much-awaited film Jersey will be releasing on 31st December 2021, and the Jersey movie trailer will be out tomorrow, i.e. 23rd November. Taking to Instagram, Shahid Kapoor wrote: "ITS TIME! We have waited to share this emotion with you for 2 years. This story is special. This team is special. This character is special. And the fact that we get to share it on the big screen with you all is special. I don't have words to express my gratitude. I hope you all feel what I felt when I played him. The poster shows Shahid Kapoor holding a bat and features him in a never-seen-before avatar. Jersey is set against the backdrop of India's most loved sport, cricket, and Shahid Kapoor will be essaying the role of a cricketer. Apart from Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur, the Jersey movie cast also features Pankaj Kapur in a pivotal role. Music directors Sachet and Parampara, who composed blockbuster hits of Kabir Singh, will be taking over the music department in Jersey film as well.  Talking about the Jersey film, producer Aman Gill said: "We all are very excited to be sharing the first poster of Jersey today and trailer tomorrow with everyone. The last two years have been a long journey for all of us and the film, and we did not want to compromise anything for the audience along the way.
