Shahid Kapoor To Essay The Role Of A Paratrooper In Next Film ‘Bull’

All Shahid Kapoor fans are in for a big treat as the Bollywood actor recently announced his upcoming Hindi film Bull, which is helmed by debutant director Aditya Nimbalkar and jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Garima Mehta, and Amar Butala. The actor was last seen in the hit film Kabir Singh and received applauds from people and critics for his impeccable acting. 

Fans have been missing seeing Shahid Kapoor on screen; moreover, Shahid is quite excited about his new project where he will essay the role of a Paratrooper. In a statement, the 40-year old actor said: “Bull is a full-blown action film inspired by real events from the life of Brigadier Bulsara. It is a privilege to play a paratrooper who leads his boys through a historic and selfless mission that has now become iconic for its precision and bravado. The opportunity to play a paratrooper is exhilarating and truly an honour,”

The Hindi film Bull will mark the second collaboration between T-series’ managing director Bhushan Kumar and Shahid Kapoor after the 2019 blockbuster film Kabir Singh. The most exciting part of the Bull movie Shahid Kapoor is that the film will be directed by Aditya, who has worked extensively with ace filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj. 

Though not much has been revealed about the project, the film’s concept guarantees an adventurous ride filled with jump scares and crazy stunts. Speaking about the collaboration with Shahid Kapoor, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta, Mr Kumar said: “We’re all set to bring the audience an action extravaganza with our second collaboration with Shahid after Kabir Singh. I am elated that my association with Amar Butala and Garima Mehta could hold the key to great cinema,” 

Apart from Shahid Kapoor, the makers of the Hindi film Bull has not revealed anything about the additional cast. However, the film’s screenplay will be penned down by Parveez Shaikh and Aseem Arrora. The film is slated to go on floors by next year.
