Tejasswi Prakash Approached For Dream Girl 2? Here’s What We Know!

Female actor Tejasswi Prakash has coaxed her way into people's hearts with her TV show Naagin 6, and before that, in Bigg Boss season 15. Now, the news is that Tejasswi might soon be seen keeping her first steps in the Bollywood industry. As revealed by a source, Tejasswi has auditioned for the sequel of director Raaj Shandilya's Dream Girl 2. Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who starred in the first part, will also be the lead actor in the second installment of the film.   “Tejasswi was offered the next instalment of Ekta Kapoor's Ragini MMS, however, she wasn't keen on doing that, given its contentious genre. She is currently in talks for Dream Girl 2. She has auditioned for it, and the makers are yet to put a pin to it. However, she is most likely to bag the project,” a source revealed.   All that we know till now, Tejasswi Prakash tried for the female lead's part, and if selected, she will be seen with Ayushmann Khurrana on the silver screen. This will also mark her debut in Bollywood. The first film Dream Girl, Nushrratt Bharuccha starred as the female lead opposite Ayushmann.  The Ekta Kapoor project is going to get started by August. “Initially it was supposed to go on floors in June, however, since the movie is being shot in North India, it gets messy amid the rains. The pre-production may begin from June,” an insider revealed.  Earlier this year, Tejasswi Prakash also expressed her views on exploring OTT and movies. She said: “I've been happy with the professional growth, I can never be content. There's still OTT and movies to explore. I want this graph to go up in the future. I'm young, I can explore, I can be choosy, I'm going to take my time and do the best. Tejasswi is still in talks with the makers, and no final decision has been made yet. Apart from appearing in Naagin 6, Tejasswi Prakash, along with her beau Karan Kundrra appeared in Kangana Ranaut's controversial reality show Lock Upp as jailers to perform an elimination task.
