The Wedding Day
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the head-over-heels in love couple, tied the knot at Vastu. Only family members and close friends were invited for the main wedding. Alia posted the wedding pictures on her Instagram handle and wrote the caption: “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special,” She signed off the message, writing, “Love, Ranbir and Alia.”
Both the bride and groom wore beautiful Sabyasachi attires on their special day. Alia Bhatt’s bridal outfit was a hand-dyed organza ivory-coloured saree. The shiny saree was adorned with beautiful tilla work and paired with the same blouse with quarter sleeves and a V-neckline. The blouse was adorned with tilla work and went well with the saree. The groom chose to twin with his bride in an ivory silk sherwani by the same designer. Ranbir closed the groom look with a long pearl necklace and kalangi from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery featuring uncut diamonds, emeralds, pearls, and soft diamond studs.
