Covid-19 Couldn’t Reach These Countries, But How?

Since Covid 19 has hit the world, there's no place left unaffected by this deadly virus. If you too have the same view, you'll be surprised to know that you're mistaken. Yes, there are some countries with zero coronavirus cases according to the World Health Organisation. These countries have always shut the door for coronavirus, registering zero covid cases. 

Tokelau

Tokelau is a leading name in producing renewable energy, and it is the maiden country in the world to be entirely powered by solar energy. It is located halfway between Hawaii and New Zealand. Even before the covid restrictions were imposed, the country managed to keep the infection away, and about 68.8 percent of the country's population is already vaccinated. 

Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan is well known for its archaeological sites bordering the Caspian Sea. The country kept its borders sealed except for repatriation flights and shut the country even for its not fully vaccinated citizens. The country's government claims zero covid cases. 

Kiribati

Kiribati, also known as the Republic of Kiribati, comprises 32 atolls and Banaba. It consists of nearly 1.2 lakh citizens, out of which 11,686 have been appropriately vaccinated. This elevated coral island has kept its borders sealed for visitors. 

Democratic People's Republic of Korea

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea, also known as North Korea, has reported zero covid cases since 2019, and it is hard to believe but the country hasn't formed its vaccination policy yet. Besides, the government has rejected all offers to import vaccines from other countries. The country has sealed its borders for travelers, food, and other imports to control the condition of the pandemic. 

Nauru

Nauru has a population of 10,384, and the entire country is fully vaccinated. Besides, according to the country's travel guidelines, it only accepts fully vaccinated visitors. 

Niue

Niue is a small island known for its coral reef diving and limestone cliffs. Half the country's population is fully vaccinated, and the government has banned foreign nationals from entering the country.  That's how it is known among the very few corona free countries.

Saint Helena

St. Helena island is among the most remote locations. Around 97 percent of the country's population above 18 is fully vaccinated. Although there's no restriction on local traveling, the new immigrants are quarantined once they reach the country. 

Cook Islands

Cook Islands is a small island nation that has kept itself isolated. Besides, among the country's eligible population of 17,459, 97 percent of the population has already got double vaccinated. That's how the country has got zero covid cases till now.
