On Tuesday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) informed that it has recovered Rs 2.85 crore in cash and 133 gold coins during raids conducted on Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain and his associates in connection to a money-laundering case. Monday, the ED searched six to seven places including Satyendar Jain's residence and a jewellery shop in South-East Delhi. On May 30, Satyendar Jain was arrested by the ED under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and is currently under the ED's custody for interrogation. After the ED's statement, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter and wrote: "At this time, prime minister is after the AAP with all his might -- particularly the Delhi and Punjab governments. Lies upon lies upon lies. You have the strength of all the agencies. But God is with us.” Last week, Kejriwal had claimed that Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is next on the target list of the central agencies and is likely to be arrested soon. ED's probe against Delhi Health Minister is based on a FIR filed against Satyendar Jain by the Central Bureau of Investigation in 2017. The central agency has claimed that Jain transferred money to Kolkata through a hawala channel and got it back from shell companies as accommodation entries. It also added that Jain could not show the source of the money received. https://twitter.com/ArvindKejriwal/status/1534134468952240131?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1534134468952240131%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.hindustantimes.com%2Findia-news%2Ffound-rs-2-85-cr-cash-gold-coins-in-satyendar-jain-raids-says-ed-kejriwal-responds-101654605489149.html https://twitter.com/dir_ed/status/1534129541056147456?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1534129541056147456%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.hindustantimes.com%2Findia-news%2Ffound-rs-2-85-cr-cash-gold-coins-in-satyendar-jain-raids-says-ed-kejriwal-responds-101654605489149.html
