Anupam Kher Shares The Heartbreaking News of Wife Kirron Kher Suffering From Blood Cancer
Actor Anupam Kher on Thursday shared the tragic news of his wife and female actor Kirron Kher suffering from multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer.
Posting about the same on his official Twitter account, the actor wrote, “Just so that rumours don’t get the better of a situation Sikandar and I would like to inform everyone that Kirron has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment, and we are sure she will come out of this stronger than before. We are very blessed that she is being looked after by a phenomenal set of doctors. She’s always been a fighter and takes things head on.”
Kher further added, “She’s all heart and that’s why she has so many people that love her. So keep sending your love to her in your prayers and in your heart. She is well on her to recovery and we thank everyone for their support and love. Anupam and Sikandar”

BJP’s MP from Chandigarh, Kirron Kher, is suffering from multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer when abnormal plasma cells start growing in the bone marrow. The veteran actress is undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Kokilaben hospital.
While addressing a press conference at Chandigarh recently, BJP president (Chandigarh) Arun Sood revealed the same about Kher’s illness. Sood said that Kirron Kher suffered a broken left arm at her Chandigarh house on 11th November 2020. After the reports of her medical tests done at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh came in, she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma.
The tests revealed that the disease had spread to her left arm and right shoulder. Sood said that the actress left for Mumbai on 4th December 2020 for further treatment.
Veteran actress Kirron Kher joined politics in 2014 and won the BJP seat twice from the Chandigarh constituency. She is also seen as a judge on the reality show India’s Got Talent, along with co-judges Karan Johar and Malaika Arora.
