Breaking: Late Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s Relatives Killed In A Road Accident
As per the latest reports, at least 5 relatives of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput met with a road accident and were killed on the spot. The incident took place on Tuesday morning when their vehicle collided with a truck on National Highway 333 situated in the Lakhisarai district, Bihar. The family members of Sushant Singh Rajput‘s extended family had gone to Patna to attend the last rites of Geeta Devi, who is the sister of senior Haryana police officer OP Singh.
Confirming the accident, Lakhisarai superintendent of police (SP) Sushil Kumar said: “It was a massive collision between a truck and a Sumo [an SUV] in which ten persons were returning from Patna. Six persons, including the driver of the Sumo, were killed on the spot while four injured have been shifted to a hospital in critical condition,”
OP Singh is the brother-in-law of Sushant Singh, who committed suicide on 14th June 2020 under suspicious circumstances. The Haryana police have confirmed that the accident took place near the upgraded middle school at Pipra, which comes under the jurisdiction of Halsi Police Station. While two relatives Balmukund Singh and Dil Khush Singh, have been admitted to a Patna hospital, the other 2 injured, Balmiki Singh and Tonu Singh, have been admitted to Lakhisarai district hospital.
The bodies of the relatives who died on the spot have been sent to Lakhisarai hospital for post-mortem. The deceased are – Laljit Singh (brother-in-law of OP Singh) and his two sons Amit Shekhar alias Nemani Singh and Ram Chandra Singh, Baby Devi, Anita Devi, and driver Preetam Kumar.
Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence on 14th June 2020, which left his family, friends, fans and the whole Bollywood fraternity in shock. An FIR was also filed by Sushant’s father, KK Singh, against actor Rhea Chakraborty on 28th July in Bihar. Later, the Enforcement Directorate also registered an Enforcement Case Information report in Sushant’s death case on 31st July.
