UP News: Authorities Demolished Illegal Construction Of Shrikant Tyagi House 

In the early hours of Monday morning, Noida authority's bulldozers rolled in as demolition started at the home of Shrikant Tyagi. According to authorities, Tyagi has illegally occupied a large section of society's area, which was demolished in an anti-encroachment operation.  Earlier, on Thursday, August 4, 2022, Shrikant Tyagi abused and misbehaved with a woman of that society who later filed a complaint against him. According to reports, officials from the Noida authority reached out to Tyagi's house and partially demolished the glass section on the roof and illegally occupied wooden panels of the balcony area in his house. Shrikant Tyagi, who abused and pushed a woman in a residential society in Noida, is the National Executive Member of the Bhartiya Janata Party Kisan Morcha, as reported by sources. Khatu Shyam Temple Stampede: Three People Lost Their Lives And Two Injured 

According to reports, a stampede occurred at around 5 am at the Khatu Shyamji temple's entrance gate. Due to this, at least three people were killed, and several others were injured early on today's morning. The incident took place during the ongoing monthly fair near the temple site. Sources mentioned that the injured had been shifted to a hospital in Jaipur, and all three deceased are women. The police team reached the spot on time and took command of the situation. Prime Minister paid condolences to the families of the deceased from his Twitter account. He tweeted, "Saddened by the loss of lives due to a stampede at the Khatu Shyamji Temple complex in Sikar, Rajasthan. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. I pray that those who are injured recover at the earliest". Rajasthan's Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot, too, condoled the death of pilgrims from his Twitter account, where he tweeted- "The death of three women devotees due to a stampede in Khatu Shyamji Temple in Sikar is very sad and unfortunate. My deepest sympathies are with the bereaved family. Ghaziabad Fire Incidence: A Minor Fire Broke Out At A Factory In Bulandshahr Road Industrial Area 

A fire broke out in a factory in Ghaziabad's Bulandshahr road industrial area in the early hours of Monday morning.  As reported by sources, authorities controlled the spread of fire in time, due to which no casualties or injuries were reported from the site. However, further details are awaited from the concerned officials. Earlier in June, a similar fire incident took place at a soap manufacturing unit in Ghaziabad's Bulandshahr industrial area. A Ceasefire Announced Between Israel And Gaza-Based Militants After Three Days Of Hostilities

A ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian militant outfits took effect late Sunday in a bid to end three days of violence that resulted in the killing of dozens of Palestinians and disrupted the lives of hundreds of thousands of Israeli citizens. On Sunday (local time), US President Joe Biden openly welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire between Israel and Gaza-based militant organizations.  Biden stated that over the last 72 hours, the US had mediated a deal with officials from Israel, the Palestinian Authority, Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, and others throughout the region. For The First Time In Indian History, US Navy Ship Arrived In India For Repairs

In a first, a US Navy Ship, Charles Drew, arrived in India to carry out repairs and allied maintenance at Larsen & Toubro's (L&T) shipyard at Kattupalli, Chennai, on Sunday. The arrival of the US Navy ship added a new dimension to the fast-expanding Indo-US strategic partnership. A Defence Ministry statement added- "This is the first ever repair of a US Navy ship in India. The US Navy had awarded a contract to L&T's Shipyard at Kattupalli for ship maintenance. Covid-Bulletin: India Logs 16,167 New Covid-19 Cases; Recovery Rate At 98.50%

According to the latest data released by the union health ministry, India has registered 16,167 new covid-19 cases in the previous 24 hours. The active caseload of the country currently stands at 1,35,510. Meanwhile, daily recoveries counted the figure of 15,549 in the last 24 hours.  With this tally, the total recoveries have reached 4,34,99,659. The daily and weekly positivity rates stand at 6.14% and 4.64%, respectively. As per the Indian Council of Medical Research, the country has conducted 87.81 crore covid-19 tests so far.
