“Disgrace Me, But Not My Kids” - Shahrukh Khan Defended His Son Aryan

Bollywood king and celebrity Shahrukh Khan is currently going through one of the toughest times of his life, as his elder son Aryan Khan has been arrested by the NCB for a drugs-related case. The actor, who is also an overprotective and caring father, is spending sleepless nights worrying about his dear son. Apart from being a superstar, Shahrukh Khan is a good father and a family man, who has three children. They are: Aryan Khan, AbRam Khan, and a daughter named Suhana Khan.  AbRam, the youngest of the three, was born in 2013 via surrogacy, and had spent quite some time in hospital. AbRam was born prematurely at 34 weeks, which is approximately 8 months. He doesn’t mind being a target of trolls but loses his calm and speaks out when it comes to his own family. Once, Shahrukh Khan had schooled the gossipers when they had spread a false rumour about his children.  In the past, there was gossip going around that Abram was the love child of SRK’s eldest son Aryan Khan. In a TED talk in 2017, SRK addressed this rumour, saying “Four years ago, my wife Gauri Khan and I had decided to have a third child. It was claimed online that he was the love child of our first child, who was 15-years-old then.  As it seems, he had sown his wild oats with a girl while driving her car in Romania. And yeah, there was a fake video which went along with it. And we were very disturbed by this as a family. My son Aryan, who has turned 19, denies this even now, saying, ‘But bro, I didn’t even have a European driving license.’” Shahrukh then said, “It is one of the only things that has made me uncomfortable in my career is you take on a child who is sick when he was born and make it a big issue… I find it very disgraceful. I am a movie star, disgrace me, but not my kids.” For those who are unaware, Aryan Khan was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau on 3rd of October 2021, after they raided a Mumbai to Goa cruise ship. He was denied bail when he was presented before the court on 8th of October. Several drugs in small quantities were seized.
