Exit Polls 2022: AAP To Get Punjab, BJP To Retain Uttar Pradesh

After voting ended in 5 poll-bound states, most of the exit polls predicted that Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party is expected to sweep Punjab while the Bhartiya Janata Party will retain Uttar Pradesh yet again. However, one cannot wholly trust exit polls as they often get it wrong. 6 exit polls prediction says that the Bhartiya Janata Party and its allies are likely to win another term with a landslide majority with an aggregate of 241 out of 403 seats. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav led Samajwadi Party will finish second with 142 seats. Around 10 exit polls predicted that Arvind Kejriwal's AAP has a good chance of taking Punjab as the first major state. The exit polls indicated that AAP is likely to win 63 seats out of 117-seat in Punjab, with the majority mark at 59. If the Aam Aadmi Party manages to take Punjab, it will be historic for the party as it will take power in the first entire state. For Uttarakhand, around 11 exit polls have predicted that there might be a head-to-head to fight between BJP (35) and Congress (32). For Goa, the exit polls predicted a tough competition between the BJP and Congress. The exit polls have given 3 seats to Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress. The exit polls for Manipur predicted that the BJP will emerge as the largest party and is likely to win 30 seats in the 60-seat assembly.  https://youtu.be/MqBWeOe7Ab8
