Covid-Bulletin: Covid-19 Cases At 37,379; Total Omicron Cases At 1892

According to the latest data released by the union health ministry, India has registered 37,379 new covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The active caseload of the country currently stands at 1,71,830. Meanwhile, the country has recorded 11,007 recoveries in the previous 24 hours, and the total recoveries stand at 3,43,06,414. The daily and weekly positivity rates currently stand at 3.24% and 2.05%, respectively. As per the Indian Council of Medical Research, the country has conducted 68.24 crore covid-19 tests conducted so far. On the vaccination front, India has administered 146.70 crore covid-19 vaccine doses so far under the nationwide vaccination drive. The union health ministry also released the statewise status of Omicron cases. Delhi: CM Arvind Kejriwal Tests Positive For Covid-19 

Taking to Twitter, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal informed that he has tested covid-19 positive this morning. The CM tweeted: "I have tested positive for Covid. Mild symptoms. Have isolated myself at home. Those who came in touch with me in last few days, kindly isolate yourself and get yourself tested," In the past 3 days, Delhi CM has been conducting massive rallies in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Uttarakhand for upcoming Assembly Elections. CM Arvind Kejriwal said that he has mild symptoms. Yesterday, he visited Dehradun and had also held rallies in Amritsar and Patiala. Delhi has been recording a high positivity rate with 4,099 new covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. IT Department Conducts Raids On ACE Group Properties In Noida, Delhi And Agra

According to some sources, the Income Tax Department is conducting searches at the properties of real estate companies ACE Group and promoter Ajay Chaudhary in Noida, Greater Noida, Delhi and Agra. The IT officials are also conducting searches at the corporate office and residential and commercial projects of the company. Ladakh: China Building Bridges Across The Pangong Tso To Counter India 

Amid the 20-month-long confrontation with India in Eastern Ladakh, China is now building a bridge across the Pangong Tso, new roads and helipads within its territory to mobilise troops faster and continue the consolidation of military positions facing India. A source close to the development said: "The bridge is being constructed with prefabricated structures well within Chinese territory.
