Telangana CM Writes To PM Modi To Drop Proposed Amendments To IAS Cadre Rules

Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao urged the central government to drop proposed amendments to the IAS cadre rules by writing a letter to prime minister Narendra Modi. In the letter, Telangana CM wrote: "The proposed amendments militate against the federal structure of the constitution, both in letter and spirit." The proposed amendments are likely to take away the power of states to override the central government's request seeking officers on central deputation. "The proposed amendment seeks to unilaterally disturb the above position, with the Central Government assuming the power to take officers on deputation without the concurrence of the officers or State government concerned. This is a dangerous move which is against the constitutional framework and spirit of cooperative federalism," added Telangana CM. Non-BJP ruled states including Rajasthan, Kerala, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu also wrote to the centre urging to drop the proposed amendments to IAS Cadre rules.  https://twitter.com/TelanganaCMO/status/1485597257177366531?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1485597257177366531%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.indiatoday.in%2Findia%2Fstory%2Ftelangana-urges-centre-drop-proposed-changes-ias-cadre-rules-chandrasekhar-rao-1903868-2022-01-24

Shehzada: Kartik Aaryan Threatens To Walk Out Of The Film

It seems like all is not well between Kartik Aaryan and Shehzada producer Manish Shah. Shehzada is the official remake of Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and features Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. After the huge success of Pushpa, producer Manish Shah decided to release the Hindi dubbed version of Allu Arjun starrer. However, this decision did not go down well with actor Kartik Aaryan. Reportedly, Kartik Aaryan threatened to walk out of the film if Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo releases in the theatres. After the incident, Manish Shah decided to pull down the release because of his friends money invested in Shehzada as Kartik's exit would cost them a loss of crores. Speaking to a news portal, Shah said: "The makers of Shehzada were not keen to release the Hindi version in cinemas. Also, Kartik Aaryan said if the movie was released in theatres, he would walk out of the film, which would have caused Shehzada producers a loss of ?40 crores. It was extremely unprofessional of him." Last week, the release of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Hindi dubbed version was called off. Shehzada features Kartik Aaryan Kriti Sanon and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kishan Kumar, Allu Arvind, S Radha Krishna and Aman Gill. The film is slated to release on 4th November 2022.
