Headlines: India’s Coal Crisis Has Resulted In the Fight between the States and Centre

India will soon face a potential call crisis as a consequence fight has started between the center and States. The states are claiming that the center does not want to acknowledge that there is an acute shortage of coal in the country. The center is consistently blaming the states for blackouts. Chief Ministers of several States have already written to PM Modi highlighting the concerns related to power blackouts. Recently union chief minister for powered RK Singh was quoted saying “we have sufficient power available we are supplying power to the entire country. Whoever wants to give me a requisition and I will supply them”. In this statement, Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said that the remarks are irresponsible. This situation is similar to that when India had an oxygen crisis. Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has also written a letter to PM Modi highlighting the fact that the national capital can take a serious hit if the supply of coal is not looked after. Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy also said the same in a letter to the PM. Some of the coal plants in the country are still left with 8 days worth of stock amid the rising demand. One of the most noticeable reasons for the increasing coal crisis is the inconsistent demand due to the poor stocking of power plants.

China Not Agreeing with India China Military Talks Recharge a Dead End

According to reports, military talks took place between the Chinese and Indian officials over the Ladakh standoff. However, the meeting collapsed after the Chinese side fail to provide any forward-looking proposals to the Indian side. We were not able to provide any agreeable solution to the Indian military officials. In a statement by the Indian army, it was quoted that during the meeting the Indian side put forward a constructor suggestion for resolving the issues. However, the Chinese side did not agree and fail to provide any forward-looking proposals. The meeting could not yield any acceptable resolutions. The meeting is to have lasted for around 8 hours where the Indian side asks for quick disengagement of Chinese true in the remaining points of eastern Ladakh. Following the disillusion in Gogra, India’s Chinese troops have backed down from six flashpoints. However, tensions regarding the stand of the Chinese army in hot springs and Despang continue.

Covid bulletin-India records 18132 new Covid-19 cases. The recovery rate has increased to 98%

As per the latest reports released by the union health ministry, India has recorded 18 132 new covid cases over the last 24 hours. At present, the total number of active cases in the country is 2,27,347 which is around 0.67% of the total covid-19 cases in the country. Daily recoveries continue to outnumber active covid-19 cases, it is reported that 21563 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. It takes a total count of recoveries to 33293478. Currently the weekly and daily positivity rate is 1.53 % and 1.75% respectively. According to the council of medical research, India has conducted over 58 crore covid tests. Till now India has administered 95 crore covid-19 vaccine doses through the nationwide vaccination drive.

NCP, Congress, and Shivsena Call For Maharashtra Bandh to Protest against Lakhimpur Incident

MVA or the Maha Vikas Aghadi government ruling the alliance of NCP Congress and Shivsena is calling a Maharashtra bandh to protest against the Lakhimpur-Kheri violence. It has brought bus and taxi services in the state to a complete halt and a large number of people are taking the Suburban railways. Workers of Congress NCP and Shivsena are meeting people to express their solidarity which farmers by supporting the Maharashtra bandh. Market in Pune was closed as traders observed the band. The Lakhimpur Kheri incident occurred when ate people with killed around the area that also includes farmers. For investigation purposes, an SIT committee has been formed.

Mumbai Drug Case: Aryan Khan Bail Plea to Be Heard Today.

The bail plea by Arbaaz merchant, Aryan Khan, and Munmun Dhamecha was rejected citing the fact that the application was wrong and not maintainable. All three accused were sent to the Arthur road jail. The bail plea of the accused will be hurt today. Aryan Khan’s lawyer Satish Mahesh Shinde will put up and argue citing the fact that no drugs were seized from Aryan Khan so there cannot be any legal case against him. Additional solicitor for the case general Anil Singh on behalf of the NCB would ask to continue the judicial custody of all three accused sighting new arrests that will meet during the Mumbai drug bust case. Meanwhile, Shahrukh Khan’s family has received a lot of strength and support from the entire Bollywood fraternity.
