Seemapuri Explosives Case: Police Says Suspect Took Flat With Fake Papers
On Thursday, the Delhi Police recovered 3 kg of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a bag found near the Seemapuri area of Delhi. The items were defused while the police interrogated the owner of the house and a property dealer. As per police sources, the owner of the apartment named Qasim rented out his apartment through a property dealer named Shakil. The flat was taken by a person, but three more men moved into the apartment ten days ago. However, they all fled before the police reached there. The suspects rented the apartment by producing fake documents, and the owner did not carry out any police verification before renting out the apartment. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police Special Cell has already identified the suspects, but it is not known yet where these men are from. The IED found in Seemapuri is similar to the one that police recovered from the Ghazipur flower market ahead of the Republic Day celebration. The police suspect that the men could be a part of a sleeper cell or a larger conspiracy.

CM Channi Clarifies His ‘UP, Bihar’ Comment, Says He Was Referring To AAP, Not Migrants
During Tuesday’s rally in Ropar, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi made a remark on migrants from UP, Bihar and Delhi in the presence of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. The remark led both of them into a soup of controversy. However, on Thursday, CM Channi said that his statement was distorted by opposition parties and clarified that he was actually referring to AAP leaders who are coming to Punjab from outside and not migrants. In a video message, CM Channi said: “Migrants in Punjab have always contributed to the development of the state. They work in factories and elsewhere, and they enjoy love and affection. We have a close relationship with them. I was talking about AAP leaders like Durgesh Pathak, Sanjay Singh and Arvind Kejriwal, who come to Punjab and cause disruptions,” While addressing a rally at Ropar, Punjab CM Channi had said those from UP and Bihar (Bhaiye) should not be allowed to enter Punjab.
My statement was only directed at few individuals causing disruption in the State, but it was twisted. My brothers & sisters from UP & Bihar have contributed towards building Punjab. We have been together for generations & I love & respect all of them like my own family members. pic.twitter.com/CLzpzLqkVr

Russia-Ukraine Crisis: USA Asks Russia To State Clearly To World That It Will Not Invade Ukraine
On Thursday, The United States said that Russia is on the verge of launching a military attack against Ukraine despite Moscow’s claim of pulling back forces. Previously, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that as per intelligence, Moscow could order an assault on its neighbour in the coming days. With western countries having no evidence to support Russia’s claim of withdrawing forces, Blinken challenged Russia to “announce today with no qualification, equivocation or deflection that Russia will not invade Ukraine. State it clearly. State it plainly to the world.” “Demonstrate it by sending your troops, your tanks, your planes, back to their barracks and hangers, and sending your diplomats to the negotiating table,” he added. Russia has repeatedly denied any invasion plans but has warned of military-technical measures if its demands for a US and NATO pullback from Eastern Europe is not fulfilled. Reacting to the Russia-Ukraine crisis, US President Joe Biden said: “They have not moved any of their troops out. They’ve moved more troops in. Every indication we have is that they’re prepared to go into Ukraine.” However, he added: “There is a path. There is a way through this,”
If Russia has no plans to invade Ukraine, then it can clearly demonstrate that by sending its troops, tanks, and planes back to their barracks and hangars and send its diplomats to the negotiating table. pic.twitter.com/SoYW01vVZa
