SRK Visits Mumbai Jail To Meet Son Aryan Khan; Pic Surfaces

After SRK's son Aryan Khan was denied bail yesterday in connection to the drug bust case, Shah Rukh Khan visited Arthur Road jail in Mumbai to meet his son, who has been under arrest since 3rd October by the NCB. The NDPS court yesterday denied bail to Aryan, citing that the WhatsApp chats found on his phone indicate his involvement in illicit drug activities. Judge VV Patil, in his order, said: "WhatsApp chats prima facie reveals accused Aryan Khan is dealing in illicit drug activities for narcotic substances on regular basis. Therefore, it cannot be said that Khan is not likely to commit similar offence while on bail. Accused 1&2 (Arbaaz Merchant) are friends since long. In their voluntary statements, both of them disclosed that they were possessing the said substance for their consumption and for enjoyment. Thus, all these things go to show that Aryan Khan was having knowledge of contraband concealed by 2 in his shoes," Meanwhile, this is the first time that Aryan Khan met his father Shah Rukh Khan in person since his arrest. Shah Rukh Khan spent 20 minutes in jail. Aryan Khan had spoken to SRK and Gauri Khan via video call on Friday. Aryan Khan's bail plea will be heard on 26th October 2021.  https://youtu.be/BQQFCWxlAUI

Tesla CEO Elon Musk Urges PM Modi To Slash Import Taxes Before Entering India

There have been various reports of Elon Musk's Tesla Motors entering the Indian market. However, now reports suggest that Tesla has put in a request to let Tesla CEO Musk meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and urge him to slash import taxes on electric vehicles before entering India. Tesla wants to enter the Indian market; however, Tesla executives have argued in the past that tariffs on imported cars in India are among the highest in the world and said that India's duty structure would not put Tesla in a very viable position in India. The county levies 60% import duty on electric vehicles, which falls under the bracket of $40,000 or less and 100% duty on electric cars costing over $40,000. Many analysts have noted that at these rates, Tesla cars will become very costly for buyers in India, which in turn can limit Tesla Motors's sales.  https://youtu.be/68TrTweXyn4
