Hemanta Biswa Sarma All Set To Take The Oath As 15th Chief Minister Of Assam At 12 PM Today

With the vow of always working with and for each citizen of Assam, Hemanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for having faith in him. After feeling sidelined by Congress, he joined BJP after hearing that the latter is trying to expand in the northeast. Winning 75 seats out of the total 126 constituencies, BJP-led NDA secured a comfortable winning. Sarma will take the oath as the new CM of Assam after replacing Sarbananda Sonowal.

Delhi Metro Services To Remain Suspended From Today Till 5 AM on 17th May; Announces Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal in a press conference on Sunday, announced a one-week extension of the lockdown in the capital till 17th May (5 AM). Stricter measures have been announced, such as suspension of Delhi Metro services. Delhi recorded 13,336 new infections on Sunday, the lowest since 21st April.

With A Recovery Rate Of 71.8%, Goa Is One Of The Worst Performing State In Terms Of Recovery Of Covid-19 Patients
