Russia-Ukraine War: Russia Will Only Use Nuclear Weapons If……

Amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, US President Joe Biden warned the world and said that Vladimir Putin is planning to use chemical weapons to achieve his intention in Ukraine. Commenting on the same, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia would only use nuclear weapons if its very existence was threatened. Mr Peskov said: “We have a concept of domestic security and it’s public, you can read all the reasons for nuclear arms to be used. So if it is an existential threat for our country, then it (the nuclear arsenal) can be used in accordance with our concept. There are no other reasons that were mentioned in that text,” Last month, Putin ordered Russia’s nuclear forces to be put on high alert. Meanwhile, Russia’s ambassador in Jakarta said that Russian President Vladimir Putin intends to attend a G20 summit that will be hosted by Indonesia later this year. However, the United States and its western alliances are still considering whether Russia should remain in G20 (Group of 20 major economies), given its assault over Ukraine.
