Russia-Ukraine Crisis: India Advises Indian Nationals In Ukraine To Leave The Country Temporarily 

Due to escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine, India released a travel advisory and advised Indian nationals, particularly students in Ukraine, to leave the country temporarily. The Indian Embassy in Kyiv said in a statement: "In view of uncertainties of the current situation in Ukraine, Indian nationals, particularly students whose stay not essential, may consider leaving temporarily," "Indian nationals are requested to keep the Embassy informed about the status of their presence in Ukraine to enable the Embassy to reach them where required," added the statement. Meanwhile, expressing concerns over the rising tensions between Russia and Ukraine, United Nations Chief Antonio Guterres's spokesperson said that UN Chief believes diplomacy is the only way forward. Mr Guterres spoke to Russia's top diplomat Sergei Lavrov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dymtro Kuleba over the telephone. Quoting Mr Guterres, Dujarric said: "The secretary general expressed to both foreign ministers his serious concern over the heightened tensions around Ukraine. Covid-Bulletin: India Records 27,409 New Covid-19 Cases; Recovery Rate At 97.82%

According to the latest data released by the union health ministry, India has recorded 27,409 new covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The active caseload of the country currently stands at 4,23,127. Meanwhile, daily recoveries have outnumbered fresh covid-19 cases with a huge margin as the nation registered 82,817 recoveries in the previous 24 hours. The daily and weekly positivity rates currently stand at 2.23% and 3.63%, respectively. As per the Indian Council of Medical Research, the country has conducted 75.30 crore covid-19 tests so far. Assembly Elections: Goa Records Highest Voter Turnout At 78.94% In Single-Phase Polling

On Monday, the elections were held peacefully on 36,823 polling stations spread across 165 assembly constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Goa. The data till 6 pm showed the highest voter turnout in Goa of 78.94% in single-phase polling, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh (2nd phase) 59.61% and 62.52%, respectively.
