Russia-Ukraine War: Russian Foreign Minister Warns Of World War III

On Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the peace talks with Ukraine would continue amid a real danger of World War III. Criticising Kyiv's approach to peace talks, Russian FM said: "Good will has its limits. But if it isn't reciprocal, that doesn't help the negotiation process." "But we are continuing to engage in negotiations with the team delegated by (Ukrainian President Volodymyr) Zelensky, and these contacts will go on." he further added. Mr Lavrov also accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of just "pretending" to negotiate, saying that 'he's a good actor.' Given the current tensions unfolding in the Russia-Ukraine war, Mr Lavrov said: "The danger (World War III) is serious, it is real, you can't underestimate it," However, the Russian Foreign Minister also added that he was confident that 'everything will ofcourse finish between Russia and Ukraine with the signing of an accord.'  https://youtu.be/OEToWSKPsPI

Covid-Bulletin: India Registers 2,483 New Cases; Recovery Rate At 98.75%

According to the latest data released by the union health ministry, India has recorded 2,483 new covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The active caseload of the country currently stands at 15,636. Meanwhile, the nation has recorded 1,970 recoveries in the last 24 hours, and the total recoveries have reached 4,25,23,311. The daily and weekly positivity rates currently stand at 0.55% and 0.58%, respectively. As per the Indian Council of Medical Research, the country has conducted 83.54 crore covid-19 tests so far. Jammu & Kashmir: 2 Jaishe-e-Mohammad (JeM) Terrorists Arrested With Ammunition In Baramulla 

On Tuesday, the Indian Army informed that 2 terrorists belonging to the Jaishe-e-Mohammad (JeM) group carrying arms and ammunition have been arrested in Pattan, Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir. An official statement read: "In a joint operation led by the Baramulla Police, 29 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), a mobile vehicle check post was established on Hanziviura Bala Pattan Baramulla Road bend after receiving the information (at around 5:30 AM) regarding the movement of 2 to 3 terrorists with warlike stores in Hanziviura Pattan." "The Army has recovered 2 Chinese Pistols, 2 Pistol Mag, 10 Ammunition Pistols and 2 Chinese Grenades from their possession," the statement added. 

There Is No Limit To Russia-China Ties, Says European Commission's President 

On Monday, the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen, said that there is no limit to the friendship between Russia and China. In the inaugural session of the annual Raisina Dialogue, EU Chief condemned Russian aggression in Ukraine but at the same time said that there is a need to find a diplomatic solution to the crisis. The Raisina Dialogue was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar. Speaking about the Russia-China friendship ties, the EU Chief said: "They have declared that the friendship between them has 'no limits'; that there are 'no forbidden areas of cooperation; this was in February this year. And then, the invasion of Ukraine followed. What can we expect from the 'new international relations' that both have called for?" Ursula Von Der Leyen also added that imposing sanctions on Russia is not a standalone solution to the Russia-Ukraine crisis and that there should be an effort to reach a diplomatic solution that will bring lasting peace.  https://youtu.be/dUasY5wa49Q
