IPL Update: CSK And RR Looking For Their Second Win Of The Campaign
Chennai Super Kings will lock horns against Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Chennai Super Kings have won their previous game against Punjab Kings quite convincingly. The big win has lifted up their net run rate too which might prove to be a crucial at the end of the league stage. However, Chennai Super Kings have lost their first game against Delhi Capitals at the same venue. Now, CSK will be eyeing to win this game to stay at a good position in the league table.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have lost the first match against Punjab Kings in a last ball thriller. However, they have made a strong comeback in the previous match against Delhi Capitals. They are going to miss Ben Stokes for the rest of the tournament. So, the victory has certainly been a morale booster for them. Now they will try to maintain their winning run against Chennai Super Kings.
Status Of The Teams:
Chennai Super Kings:
Chennai Super Kings have a great batting lineup this season. Almost all of them in the starting XI can contribute with the bat if required. So, the team management will like to have some explosive powerhitters at the top order to get a good total on board. Ruturaj Gaikwad has struggled to score in the powerplay. So, the management might give a chance to Robin Uthappa in this match. Otherwise, they will go to same set of players.
