When India's middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer sustained a shoulder injury earlier this year, it was one of the most stressful moments of his life. However, in a recent change of events, he is all prepared and ready to go after joining his Delhi Capitals team in the United Arab Emirates. The second leg of the IPL 2021 will begin on September 19, and Delhi is presently in first place in the points table. After suffering a shoulder injury in one of the series' matches, Iyer was ruled out of India's home series against England. He was later ruled out of the Indian leg of the IPL after suffering a shoulder injury. He subsequently underwent extensive rehabilitation and is now poised to play in the IPL's second leg in the UAE. It should be mentioned that when Iyer was unable to play the opening session of the IPL, Rishabh Pant was appointed as DC's captain. However, after Iyer returns, it is unclear who would be in control of Delhi. While watching his colleagues perform, Iyer made it a point to mention that the sensation was incredibly tough for him.
