Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey 2021 release goes head-to-head with Marvel’s ‘Eternals’ this November

The upcoming Indian Hindi-language sports drama film, Jersey, was written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, which is a remake of his 2019 Telugu film of the same title. Shahid Kapoor is starring as a cricketer, alongside Mrunal Thakur, and Pankaj Kapur. The film’s producers are: Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, Dil Raju, and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi. Official announcement for the film was made back in October 2019, and principal photography commenced in Chandigarh on the 13th of December in the year 2019. It was scheduled to be theatrically released on 28 August 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting restrictions by the government delayed its production. Movie fans all over India are in for a treat of their life as Marvel Studios has recently announced that their upcoming movie “Eternals” will hit the big screens this Diwali in India. Directed by Chloé Zhao, this latest addition to the MCU welcomes a new set of superheroes, who join forces to save the whole universe. As Jersey 2021 release date has been announced as November 5 this year, which coincides with the release date of Marvel Studios movie “Eternals”, there will be close competition at the box office. However, Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’, an Indian Hindi-language sports drama film, which is a remake of the 2019 Telugu film with the same title, is currently grabbing people’s attention and has received more positive feedback.
