According to Forbes, Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani are among the top 10 billionaires in the world. Elon Musk has surpassed Jeff Bezos for the number one spot.  The Top 10 Richest Person in the World 2022 is listed below:

1. Elon Musk

Elon Reeve Musk FRS (born June 28, 1971) is a renowned entrepreneur and investor. He is the co-founder of OpenAI and Neuralink. Also, he is the founder, CEO, and Chief Engineer of SpaceX. He is also an angel investor, Product Architect and CEO of Tesla, Inc., and the founding member of The Boring Company. Musk is the world's richest individual, as per both the Forbes real-time billionaires list and the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. He possesses an estimated net worth of roughly US$265 billion, according to May 2022 stats.

2. Jeff Bezos

Jeffrey Preston Bezos (born January 12, 1964) is an American businessman, media mogul, investor, commercial astronaut, and computer engineer. He is the erstwhile CEO and president of Amazon, as well as the company's founder and executive chairman. As per both Forbes and Bloomberg's Billionaires Index, Bezos is ranked as the second-wealthiest individual in the world, with a net worth of roughly US$140 billion until May 2022. William Henry Gates III is an American business entrepreneur, investor, software developer, philanthropist and author. He was born on October 28, 1955. Together with his late close friend Paul Allen, he co-founded Microsoft. During his time at Microsoft, Gates served as chairman, CEO, chief software architect and president. He held the majority of Microsoft shares until May 2014. In the 1970s and mid 1980s, he was a key figure in the development of microcomputer revolution.

5. Warren Buffett

Warren Edward Buffett (born 30th August 1930) is an American billionaire businessman, investor, and philanthropist. He is currently holding the position of chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. He is one of the world's largest investors, with a net worth of approximately $116 billion as of May 2022, making him the fifth-wealthiest person on the planet.

6. Gautam Adani

Gautam Shantilal Adani (born June 24, 1962) is an Indian industrialist and philanthropist whose assets are valued at billions of dollars. He is the founder and chairman of the Adani Group, a multinational company headquartered in Ahmedabad that specializes in port infrastructure development and management in the West Coast territories of India. Adani also serves as the unanimous president of the Adani Foundation, which is managed and run by his wife, Priti Adani. According to Forbes, he belongs to the wealthiest family in India, overtaking Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Group. Also, Adani is the sixth richest individual in the world ranking, as of May 30, 2022, enjoying a net worth of US$107.5 billion.

Lawrence Edward Page (born March 26, 1973) is an internet entrepreneur and computer scientist from the United States. Along with Sergey Brin, he is recognized around the world as one of the principal co-founders of Google. Page held the position of Google's CEO from 1997 to August 2001 and subsequently stepped down in favor of Eric Schmidt. Following this, he became CEO of Alphabet Inc. from April 2011 to July 2015. Google was co-founded by him and Larry Page. Brin was indeed the president of Google's parent corporation, Alphabet Inc., until December 3, 2019, when he stepped down.
