Monkey D Luffy, a young boy with dreams of having his own crew, goes on the way to find that mythical treasure, One Piece. And he declares himself as the King of Pirates. Meanwhile he eats a devil fruit. Eating the fruit makes Monkey D Luffy, now Pirate King, have a very elastic body like a rubber and produces enough agility and strength to him. One Piece Review

Netflix is set to repeat history with the release of its adaptation of the manga series that became an anime TV show into a live action, One Piece. Cowboy Bebop, a Japanese animated series, did better in Hollywood westerns and American jazz and film. In 2021, Netflix was focused on cultural homage through the making of an American live-action adaptation. Even being not a disaster, Cowboy Bebop instantly got down from the sight.

One Piece is a significant franchise of the manga or anime TV series that hold a record of 500 million book sales and 1073 television episodes. The television episodes of anime series are going on. One Piece has a Buster Keaton-like visual energy and adventurous story that you can also find in Hollywood musicals and swashbucklers such as The Crimson Pirate and Captain Blood. With One Piece, Netflix has moved to produce an American live-action remake again. All eight episodes of One Piece streamed on 31 August 2023.

Even being different creatures from their originals, Cowboy Bebop and One Piece have some similarities in terms of composition, texture, and movement. Due to this, you can find yourself engaged and a trigger in your emotions while watching all its episodes on Netflix. There is no reason that an adaptation of an anime series into a live-action version will not have a different style. One Piece, a Netflix series, has avoided making an attempt. You can find it generic and bland. Fans of its original could find themselves satisfied by seeing the replication of events. However, they would not be fully satisfied due to a lack of anime personalities.

Some of the cast feels like fishmen due to the setup of a fantastical world surrounded by ocean and pirates. One Piece has a central character, Monkey D Luffy, who pursues his childhood dream of becoming the Pirate King and finding the mythical treasure, One Piece. He becomes successful in the creation of a crew team for himself and moves ahead in the search of that mythical treasure. As per story need, the central character has tried to do his best. Due to his elastic nature, he is indestructible in all ways. The current series has done well in the recreation of Monkey D Luffy’s rubbery abilities. Apart from the central character, all others have done well as per direction. It could be a better adaptation of the manga or anime series with a little different style.
