A Bollywood Story of “Pyar Dosti Hai” : Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif

Apart from the fact that Katrina has made a place in Bollywood, the actor is also known for her rumored link-ups. In 2003, Kaif marked a debut with the film, Boom which was a commercial failure. The actor then appeared in movies like Maine Pyar Kyu Kiya, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, and Namastey London. These films proved to be a turning point in her life, and cut to today, Katrina is one of the highest-paid female actors in Bollywood. While her filmy career was going up, rumors of Katrina’s link up with actor Salman Khan started doing the rounds. Though both of them never accepted their relationship publicly, Salman’s care and protection towards Katrina said it all. In fact, Salman’s guidance and support helped Katrina to survive in this big Bollywood arena.  Reportedly, the couple was in a relationship for few years but the duo broke up in 2010, after Katrina’s increasing closeness to co-star Ranbir Kapoor on the sets of the film Ajab Prem ki Kahaani. According to a report by Pinkvilla, Katrina texted Salman that it’s over between them and the actor was very sacred because of Salman's unpredictable behavior. The actor does have a history of being an aggressive and violent partner while dating Aishwarya Rai.  But with Katrina, the ending was different; both of them handled the situation maturely and have maintained the bond of friendship. Katrina is often seeing visiting Khan’s residence during festivals. Generally, exes don’t like to work with each other, but the duo changed the stereotype completely and did many films together such as Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, and very recently, Bharat. Instead, Salman is often seen pulling Kat’s leg, and the latter enjoys that equation too. Katrina still considers Salman as her family member. Salman and Katrina’s chemistry in real life is as magical as it is in reel life, and we wish that this “Pyar Dosti Hai” equation should always remain intact.
