Abhishek Bachchan Starrer ‘The Big Bull’ to Digitally Release on 8th April 2021

The much-anticipated film ‘The Big Bull’, based on the life of stockbroker Harshad Mehta and India’s biggest stock market scam, is all set to release on 8th April 2021 on Disney+Hotstar.   The Big Bull is directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by Ajay Devgn and Anand Pandit. The main cast includes Abhishek Bachchan, Ileana D’ Cruz, Nikita Dutta, and Sohum Shah.   Junior Bachchan took to Twitter and shared the teaser of the film along with the release date announcement and fans started storming Twitter with the hashtag #TheBigBull.  https://twitter.com/juniorbachchan/status/1371699139906441217 However, the teaser has not revealed much about Abhishek Bachchan’s look in the film. It can be seen that the protagonist is signing a cheque of Twenty Six crores by the name of Hemant Shah which seems like the makers have used fictional names for the film. The teaser also shows gives us a glimpse of how Mumbai used to look like in the 80s.  Initially, The film was to release in theatres, but due to the Covid-19 guidelines, the makers have decided to go for an OTT release. The trailer of the film will release on 19th March. Interestingly, Hansal Mehta directed web-series ‘Scam 1992’, based on Harshad Mehta’s life, released on 9th October 2020. Pratik Gandhi essayed the role of Harshad and was praised for his acting ability. Scam 1992 was a sleeper hit and made Gandhi an overnight star.  After the terrific performance of Abhishek Bachchan in the Amazon original Breathe: Into the Shadows, people went all praise for Junior Bachchan’s acting ability.  “Abhishek believes in acing everything he does, and he is very committed to his craft. Coming from a family that has been around for many years, he makes sure everyone on set is comfortable. He makes sure to read his script thoroughly and doesn’t waste people’s time. He has been an example to many people on set. As a producer, he is a dream to work with.” Said earlier by Producer Anand Pandit on working with Abhishek.  Well, we are waiting for the film’s release to see if it can match the magic that Scam 1992 created!
