Aryan Khan Granted Bail: Biggest Birthday Gift For Shah Rukh Khan

In a big relief to Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, their son and Bollywood personality Aryan Khan has been granted bail by the Bombay High Court. Aryan Khan, along with Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau during a raid conducted by the anti-drug agency on a rave party at a cruise ship. On Thursday, justice Nitin Sambre granted bail to Aryan Khan in the cruise ship drug case. The court ordered: "All applications are allowed," However, the detailed judgement regarding the conditions for bail will be pronounced by the court tomorrow.  https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1453683019869343745 Accused Aryan Khan's bail plea has been rejected thrice, but finally, Aryan will be home for his father and Bollywood celebrity Shah Rukh Khan's birthday on 2nd November 2021. However, Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun will have to spend today's night in jail since the detailed order has not been pronounced yet.  During the bail hearing, Aryan's bail plea was opposed by ASG Anil Singh, who is representing the Narcotics Control Bureau in the drug case. Mr Singh had argued in the court: "There is a case that a person might not have consumed the drug, but if he's in possession of it, he can be booked under NDPS Act… Accused Aryan was found in conscious possession of contraband,"  Meanwhile, former Attorney General of India, Mukul Rohatgi, who represented Aryan Khan in the case, called NCB's arrest illegal. On Behalf of Aryan, Mr Rohatgi said: "There were 1,300 people on the cruise. I did not know anybody else except Arbaaz and Aachit. Their (NCB's) case is -- it is not a coincidence, and therefore, it is a conspiracy. Conspiracy is the meeting of the minds. It cannot be based on coincidence. You (NCB) failed to prove meeting of minds with these eight people and therefore called them independently. There is absolutely no material for the purpose of the conspiracy," https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1453693974682619904 While Aryan Khan has been fighting for his bail at the Bombay High Court, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, who is also the investigating officer in the Aryan Khan case, has been hitting the headlines. Right from Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik's remarks to extortion allegations, Mr Wankhede is trapped in controversial cases. As per the latest updates, the NCB officer has moved Bombay High Court seeking interim protection against arrest over the inquiry been conducted by the Maharashtra government. However, the petition of Sameer Wankhede demanding a probe by CBI or any central agency has been disposed off by the Bombay High Court after the Maharashtra government's lawyer assured the court that the party would provide 3-day notice prior to Sameer Wankhede's arrest by the Mumbai Police.  https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1453659254297010179?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1453659254297010179%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Ftimesofindia.indiatimes.com%2Fentertainment%2Fhindi%2Fbollywood%2Fnews%2Fsameer-wankhede-moves-bombay-hc-over-the-inquiry-against-him-by-maharashtra-government-demands-probe-by-cbi-or-any-central-agency%2Farticleshow%2F87334563.cms The 3 accused in the case - Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha are currently lodged at the Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai.  Watch this space for the latest updates on the Aryan Khan case
