Caution: Watch These Indian Horror Films At Your Own Risk

Bollywood is mostly known for masala entertainment films. However, when it comes to the horror genre, all we can recall is films like Puraani Haveli, Veerana and weird monstrous creatures, but that doesn’t mean that Bollywood has given us only hilarious graphics and ugly-as-hell costumes in the name of a horror film.

13B is probably one of the best horror films delivered by the Hindi film industry. Starring R Madhavan and Neetu Chandra, the film revolves around a middle-class family who moves to a new house which is located on the 13th floor. The house has a dark past which is slowly uncovered in the movie. With a spooky background score and engaging storyline, the film delivers spine-tingling scares and chills.

A mysterious caretaker, a spooky mansion, and a newly married couple – this film has every element to place at the edge of your seat! Darna Zaroori Hai

For this film, we would urge you to take the movie’s title literally as ‘Darna Zaroori Hai’ does manage to scare you with its intriguing plot. The film contains six stories, and the film bind the stories together with an old woman (Ava Mukherjee) who narrates these six stories to five children. After you watch this cult classic, the stories are not going to leave your mind for a long, long time.

Raaz was perhaps the first film that established the fact that Bipasha Basu is going to sign a hell lot of horror films. The film is inspired by the Michelle Pfeiffer starrer ‘What Lies Beneath’, and our bong beauty did match her in every possible way. Raaz revolves around the story of Aditya (Dino Morea) and Sanjana (Bipasha Basu) and how Sanjana literally fights a ghost to keep her husband alive.
