According to a report on Bollywood Shaadis, Kundra's net worth is estimated to be around $550million, which roughly equal to Rs. 4000 crores. Raj Kundra, also known as Ripu Sudan Kundra, was born and raised in London. His father Bal Krishan Kundra was a bus conductor in London before he started a small business, and his mother Usha Rani Kundra worked as a shop assistant. Kundra started his career as a pashmina shawl seller to fashion retailers in Britain, and it was in that trade that he made his first million pounds. In 2007, at the age of 18, he moved to Dubai and set up Essential General Trading LLC, a company which dealt in in precious metals, construction, mining, and renewable energy projects. At the same time, he began financing and producing Bollywood films. A court in Mumbai on recently extended the police custody of businessman Raj Kundra till July 27 in a case related to the alleged creation of pornographic films and publishing them through a few apps. Kundra, the husband of actress Shilpa Shetty, was arrested on the night of July 19 by the city police's crime branch after being booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Information Technology Act (ITA). In 2009, Kundra and Shetty invested in the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket team Rajasthan Royals using an offshore company based in Mauritius (island country in the Indian Ocean, located off the eastern coast of Africa). Kundra was awarded the Champions of Change Award in 2019, for his involvement with Swachh Bharat Mission. His business ventures included Satyug Gold, Super Fight League, and more recently Bastian Hospitality, a restaurant chain in Mumbai. Raj Kundra’s Business is something we common people can only dream of. But, remember that Raj Kundra’s Net Worth was not built in a single day.
