Hera Pheri 3.0 Confirmed With The Same OG Cast?
Whether it was the 2000 film Hera Pheri or the 2006 Phir Hera Pheri, the two films have a huge fan base. These movies are so popular that almost everyone has shared memes based on the film characters. (If you have not heard anything about these characters or not shared anything about them, like are you are from the stone age era?) For many years OG Hera Pheri fans have been waiting for the third sequel of the film. Well! Their wait is over now, as film producer Firoz Nadiadwala recently confirmed that the shooting for the sequel of Hera Pheri will start soon. In an interview with a news agency, Firoz Nadiadwala revealed that fans would soon watch Hera Pheri 3 with its original cast Paresh Rawal as Babu Bhaiya, Akshay Kumar as Raju, and Sunil Shetty as Shyam.
Firoz’s Comments
“You’ll get to see it very soon with the same star cast – Akshay ji, Paresh bhai and Suniel ji. The story is in place, and we are working on certain modalities. It’ll be made in the same way, retaining the innocence of the characters. We can’t take past achievements for granted. So, we have to be extra careful in terms of our content, story, screenplay, characters, mannerism etc.” Firoz said to an entertainment channel. Whereas the producer said that “We have shortlisted somebody. We are in talks. We’ll make the announcement soon”. With the film’s announcement soon to be made, fans are getting excited to see their favourite actors reprising their popular roles.Movie’s Background
The first part of Here Pheri was directed by Priyadarshan, where the story revolved around two tenants and a landlord who, in desperate need of money, follows a ransom call due to a cross-connection case. Whereas, the second part of the movie, directed by Neeraj Vora, presents how did the lives of Raju, Shyam, and Babu Rao change after getting duped by a fraudster. As they arrange money by taking a huge loan, they find it difficult to repay after being cheated. The complete story then revolves around the struggle they face with arranging the loan amount. It is true that the story of both versions was not ‘something out of the box’ but what worked in favour was the direction, comic timing, hilarious and iconic dialogues and the unbeatable chemistry between the trio! The cast of Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Johnny Lever, and Rajpal Yadav keep the fans glued to their screens and it even has its impact! This is also the reason why fans never get bored of watching Hera Pheri versions.
