Ltd, a gold-trading company. The NRI said that he was cheated by SGPL's Satyug Gold Scheme, which was a five-year gold plan and promised a certain fixed quantity of gold redeemable after the end of the five year locking period. However, the NRI's spokesperson told IANS that after he went to redeem his gold assets, he found that the SGPL office was shut with no employees. Later on, when he searched on the website of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, he was stunned to know that both Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra had resigned as directors of SGPL in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Mr Joshi said that he lost INR 18.58 lakh on the gold investment.
