NCB Officer Sameer Wankhede Allegedly Being Followed; Lodges Complaint

Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau, has been making headlines since he is investigating SRK's son Aryan Khan's case, who has been arrested in connection to the Mumbai drug bust case. While people are praising him for doing his duties rightfully, some are also criticizing him for only focusing on investigating Bollywood celebrities. Recently, Mr Wankhede has lodged a complaint with the Union government and state police alleging that he is being followed. According to a report in the Times of India, Sameer Wankhede has learned from his sources that he is being stalked and followed even to Kabristan, where he regularly visits to pray at his mother's grave. He also has footage of people in civil clothes following him. Apart from following, Sameer Wankhede, in his complaint, has also mentioned that he is being subjected to illegal surveillance. The NCB officer has also expressed concerns over the safety of his family, and the complaint has been filed while Sameer Wankhede is investigating SRK's son Aryan Khan drug case. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has alleged that Sameer Wankhede visited Maldives during the covid-19 pandemic when a lot of Bollywood celebrities were also visiting Maldives. The minister also said that vasuli (extortion) took place while Mr Wankhede was in Maldives and Dubai, claiming that he also has pictures to prove the same. https://youtu.be/3GDN9-PuY3k In response, Sameer Wankhede said: "The minister is saying wrong things. It is an absolute lie. I went to Maldives with my children for a vacation. I took proper permission from the competent authority for the same. I didn't meet anyone, and I don't want to give any further clarification on these kinds of accusations. In December, I was in Mumbai, at the time when he said I was in Dubai. This can be investigated," The officer added: "My family is continuously being attacked — from my sister to my father. This is only because I am fighting for the truth and against drug activity. I will take appropriate legal action as the minister has levelled many wrong accusations. I will take legal recourse. We have a justice system; I will take their help after taking permission from my seniors," https://youtu.be/cW3qd7ekdIk Minister Nawab Malik has alleged that the raid conducted at the rave party by the NCB is 'fake', and Aryan Khan has only been arrested over WhatsApp chats. On Wednesday, the special NDPS court rejected the bail plea of SRK's son Aryan Khan after the NCB submitted some conversations found in Aryan's phone which hint at Khan's involvement in illicit drug activities. Yesterday, NCB officials raided Aryan Khan and Ananya Panday's residence in Mumbai and summoned Ananya Panday for questioning against the drug bust case. During the questioning that went for more than an hour, NCB officials asked Ananya if she had any information about the involvement of any international drug peddler since Aryan Khan is reportedly regularly consuming drugs for 4 years. The 22-year old female actor has again been called today for the 2nd time in connection with the Aryan Khan drug case. Though some Bollywood personalities have condemned the arrest of Aryan Khan publicly, most of the Bollywood fraternity has kept its mouth shut over Aryan Khan's arrest. Recently, some reports have surfaced online that suggests that Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has denied that he can't reschedule the dates of an advertisement that he has to shoot with Shah Rukh Khan. According to some reports, Ajay Devgn said that he can't postpone the shoot dates due to SRK's personal problem, which he has nothing to do with. However, no comments have been made from Ajay Devgn's team regarding the reports. https://twitter.com/kamaalrkhan/status/1450316768786931716?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1450316768786931716%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bollywoodlife.com%2Fnews-gossip%2Faryan-khan-drug-case-ajay-devgn-refuses-to-reschedule-ad-shoot-with-shah-rukh-khan-claims-thats-srks-personal-problem-bollywood-news-1935061%2F Aryan Khan's bail plea will be heard on 26th October 2021.
