The Grand Wedding of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta

Akash Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani, got engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Shloka Mehta, daughter of Russell Mehta, on 30th June 2018. Both belong to ultra-rich families, so everyone expected a perfect fairytale wedding studded with Bollywood stars and highly influential people on the guestlist. Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's luxurious wedding took place on 9th March 2019 at Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. And it was literally no less than a dream, from invitation cards to wedding outfits to the glorious venue; everything about this wedding was grand.  The couple will celebrate 2nd anniversary this year. However, we still have the wedding hangover left. From crazy baraati dance videos of Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan to a star-studded guest list with Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The Akash-Shloka wedding was a hit. Did you know that South superstar, Rajinikanth along with his family, attended the wedding? Even Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, and global chief executives of Samsung and Bank of America also attended the wedding. The bride went for a red, and gold hand embroidered Lehenga with cut-work detailing at the borders and edge of the dupatta. Shloka wore heavy jewellery made of emeralds and uncut diamonds. She completed the look with matha Patti , nath, and traditional earrings and was definitely giving us a royal princess vibe.  Reportedly, her wedding attire’s cost was around Rs. 5 lakh. Akash Ambani wore a stunning ivory sherwani by ace designer Sabyasachi and paired it with a heavy emerald Kantha of 6 layers. Both bride and groom complimented each other very well. As for the family members, Mukesh Ambani twinned with the groom in an ivory sherwani by Sabyasachi, Nita Ambani, and Isha Ambani wore Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.  Well, the Akash-Shloka wedding was a picture-perfect one!
