The digital world mourns the unexpected loss of teen stars Lil Tay, a young YouTube sensation and rapper and his brother Jason Tian who died at the age of 14 and 15.
Claire Hope, popularly known as Lil Tay, became famous in 2018 on social media platforms due to her viral video in which she disclosed her profanity and wealth. Lil Tay has more than 3 million followers on Instagram where her family broke shocking news of her unexpected death.
In the Instagram post, her family wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing. We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain.” Further, the post said, “This outcome was entirely unexpected, and has left us all in shock. Her brother’s passing adds an even more unimaginable depth to our grief”.
The post continued in saying, “We kindly ask for privacy as we grieve this overwhelming loss, as the circumstances surrounding Claire and her brother’s passing are still under investigation.”

Who is Lil Tay?
Lil Tay, known as Claire Eileen Qi Hope by birth, was born in 2008/2009 in Canada. Her father is Christopher J Hope, a lawyer, and her mother is Angila Tian, a real estate agent. Claire Eileen Qi Hope is an American-born Canadian YouTuber and a younger rapper. It was 2018 when she disclosed to be the youngest flexer of the century and became famous on social media for her viral video. In the video, she flaunted a lot of wealth. She has a large number of followers, around 3 millions, on Instagram and people love her rap videos on YouTube. Claire is popularly known as Lil Tay who left this world on 9 August 2023.
Who is Jason Tian?
Jason Tian was Lil Tay’s brother. Lil Tay was a social media influencer, raper, and YouTuber. He was her stepbrother. However, he remained always in support of Lil Tay. He also managed a YouTube channel under Racie’s name with a little success. Jason became famous due to his launch of a campaign, GoFundMe, for his sister (Lil Tay).
