Vaishali Takkar Suicide Case: Initial Findings Hint At Harassment By Neighbour Couple

Vaishali Takkar, a renowned theatre artist, on Sunday hanged herself at her residence in Indore. According to media reports, the 29-year-old actress was allegedly harassed by a neighbour named Rahul, which led the actress to take such an extreme step. The police said that the Vaishali Takkar suicide case is under investigation, and as per the preliminary findings, a suicide note has been recovered from her residence. Vaishali Takkar’s Career Vaishali Takkar, who hails from Mahidpur, Ujjain, was a rising artist who established her identity as a TV actress on her own. Besides this, her parents used to live with her. So, a guiding and supportive environment was there for Vaishali. The actress completed her education from the Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMRC) and then stepped into anchoring. However, Vaishali was more inclined towards acting, so she went to Mumbai to try her luck. There, she stepped into the acting industry with her debut role in Star Plus’s popular drama Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Later on, she acted in Yeh Hai Aashiqui and, most recently, in Rakshabandhan. The media reports on Vaishali Takkar death state that the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame used to live with her parents at her Indore residence. Recently, in April 2021, she got engaged to a Kenya-based surgeon, Dr Abhinandan Singh. Everything was okay between Vaishali and her fiance and they were supposed to get married in December this year. As per preliminary findings, it is revealed that Vaishali was actively harassed by her neighbour, Rahul. Recently, both of them had a conflict over some unknown issues. This can be associated with the actress taking an extreme step. From the site of the crime, the police has also recovered a suicide note whose information is yet to be made public. Notably, Vaishali’s neighbour absconded the site as soon as he learnt about the suicide. At present, the police is looking for traces of absconded Rahul and his alleged role in Vaishali Takkar's suicide.
