In the recent episode of Bigg Boss 16, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh joined BB host Salman Khan. Both the actors had come to promote their upcoming release Thank God. While Bhaijaan is known to spill the beans, he did the same during Sidharth’s visit. Some announcements about Sidharth and Kiara in Koffee With Karan 7 gained media attention. In one of the episodes where the Shershaah actor Sidharth Malhotra was invited as a guest, Karan Johar asked him whether he has any plans to marry his alleged girlfriend, Kiara. To this, the actor replied that he would manifest about it later. In another episode of Koffee With Karan 7, Karan asked the same question to Kiara Advani. She indirectly accepted her relationship with Sidharth and even invited Karan and her co-star in Kabir Singh Shahid Kapoor to her marriage.

In recent reports circulating in media, it is claimed that the alleged couple may get married by April 2023. The sources mentioned that Sidharth Kiara would tie the knot in a close-knit ceremony and plan to register their marriage in New Delhi. The reports further suggested that the couple will host a reception for their friends and family. And, as it may be hosted in New Delhi, only a few celebrities from Bollywood will attend the function.   The sources said: “Sidharth Kiara are out in the open about their relationship because they are just sure about each other. The couple might get narrated next year in April, and it will be a very close-knit affair. In fact, no one from Bollywood will be invited to the wedding as it will mostly take place in Delhi with Sidharth's family and rishtedaars. Kiara and Sid will first do a registered marriage, and then they might keep a cocktail party followed by the reception. But we don't know if the celebrities will be invited to the reception party or not as everything will be happening in Delhi,”

In one of his interviews with India Today, Sidharth Malhotra hinted that there’s some truth in these media reports. He accepted that these reports do not bother him. In fact, he mentioned: “If I was getting married, I think it would be very difficult to keep it a secret today. We have realized that somewhere or another, the reality will come out,” The interview was about Sidharth Malhotra's upcoming film Thank God, where the actor is sharing screen with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. Thank God will hit the big screens on October 25.
