Netrikann's (2021) stunning scene, which sees the movie's leading actor Nayanthara offering a powerful punch line against sacrifice and sexism, was probably the first in a Tamil movie. “Why do you care whether she is opting for an abortion, dressed 'inappropriately', if she is nude, or whether she is a good or bad person? Surprisingly, Nayanthara history of 19-year cinema mission was not planned due to careful consideration but voluntary decisions.
