On Thursday, officials announced that the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) will hold a meeting on 20th April to discuss how it can prevent the spread of coronavirus in the city. Informing about the same, a senior Delhi Government official said: "The Delhi Disaster Management Authority's meeting is scheduled to be held on Wednesday next week under the chairmanship of the Lt Governor. It will discuss the prevailing Covid situation, including the recent rise in the number of cases," The situation in Delhi has triggered a possibility of a 4th wave of the pandemic. However, it might be evitable until a new covid-19 variant is detected in the national capital.
