G20 Summit: UK PM Rishi Sunak Approves 3000 Indian Visas Hours After Meeting PM Modi

G20 Summit: UK PM Rishi Sunak Approves 3000 Indian Visas Hours After Meeting PM Modi

Hours after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Indonesia, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak gave the go-ahead for 3,000 UK visas for Indians. The UK government noted that India is the first visa-national country to get benefit from such a scheme which also highlights the UK-India Migration and Mobility Partnership agreed to last year. "Today the UK-India Young Professionals Scheme was confirmed, offering 3,000 places to 18-30-year-old degree-educated Indian nationals to come to the UK to live and work for up to two years," said UK's PMO in a tweet. The 17th edition of the G20 Summit is taking place in Bali, Indonesia. Rishi Sunak met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the G20 Summit. This was Sunak's first meeting with the Indian PM after he assumed office as the new British PM last month. The United Kingdom government said that through the scheme, both countries plan to tackle immigration offenders. "A landmark Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the UK and India in May 2021 aimed at increasing mobility between our countries, returning those with no right to be in the UK and India respectively and sharing best practices on organised immigration crime," said Mr Sunak.   https://twitter.com/10DowningStreet/status/1592673886864572417 https://twitter.com/narendramodi/status/1592475202335956993

Shraddha Murder Case: 'Looked At Her Head In Memory Of Their Relationship' Reveals Aftab Poonawala

In a new development in the Shraddha murder case, the prime accused, Aftab Poonawala, has apparently confessed during the police interrogation that he often looked at the victim's head in the refrigerator in memory of their relationship. 26-year-old Shraddha Walker was allegedly killed by her boyfriend, Aftab Poonawala, in May this year. After killing Shraddha, Aftab dismembered her body into 35 parts and kept it in a newly-brought fridge in a rented apartment in South Delhi's Mehrauli. The gruesome murder has shocked the entire nation. Currently, the Delhi Police is searching for the head of Shraddha Walker to establish the victim's identity using skull superimposition technology. Since Aftab told police officers that he dumped Shraddha's head at the very end to get rid of her corpse, he may not have been able to mutilate the head, and its recovery might help establish the victim's identity. According to police sources, Poonawala allegedly used orthoboric acid (boric powder), formaldehyde, sulphuric acid and other chemicals during chopping, storing and disposing of her live-in partner's body. Currently, Aftab is locked up in police custody.  Also Read: Aftab brought another woman while Shraddha's body parts remained in Fridge

"There were injuries and scuffle marks on the victim's body," said the source. After killing his partner, Debnath walked up to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and went live on Facebook, where he confessed the crime. "I killed Rhea. I wouldn't have killed her, neither would have taken this step (to commit suicide), but she left me with no choice. I am scared; I have nothing to live for. If I live, I will have to spend the rest of my life in jail," said Debnath in the video. Rhea's body has been sent for post-mortem.
