Ashraf Ghani Makes An Address From Exile In UAE

After US-backed Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani flee the country, the Taliban seized the capital and are set to form a new Islamic government. While everyone was anticipating that Ghani went to Tajikistan or Uzbekistan, it turns out he has flown to the United Arab Emirates after he released a video. In the video, Ghani said: "I had to move out of Afghanistan to prevent Kabul from bloodshed and destruction. They were going room-to-room to find me. Their decision was this: whatever happened 25 years ago was going to be repeated. The president of Afghanistan once again was going to be hanged in front of the people's eyes, and such a shameful history would have once again been repeated," In 1996, the Taliban fighters hanged the body of the then president of Afghanistan, Mohammad Najibullah from a traffic light. However, the people of Afghan and other Afghan politicians are not happy with Ghani's decision and, in fact, went on to say that Ghani has betrayed his own motherland and tribe.   https://youtu.be/nn56RgezeX0
