Heavy Rainfall In Delhi, Haryana; IMD Predicts More Rainfall

As the monsoon has arrived in India, several parts of Delhi, Haryana, witnessed heavy rainfall on Monday morning. Many parts of Gurugram, Noida and Delhi say waterlogging, after which traffic disruptions were reported. The Indian Meteorological Department informed about heavy rainfall and said: "19/07/2021: 10:50 IST; Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain would continue to occur over and adjoining areas of entire Delhi, NCR ( Bahadurgarh, Gurugram, Manesar, Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Noida, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh ) Kurukshetra," However, the capital saw relief after the mercury has hit up to 42 degrees Celsius in the last few weeks. Covid Bulletin: India Records 38,000+ Active Covid-19 Infections, 499 Deaths

According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry, India has recorded 38,164 covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours, and 499 more people have succumbed to death. So far, India has logged 3.11 crore covid-19 cases and 4.14 lakh deaths since the pandemic hit the country. Meanwhile, daily recoveries have outnumbered active covid-19 cases by a small margin, as India recorded 38,660 recoveries in the last 24 hours. The total recoveries have reached 3,03,08,456, with the recovery rate standing at 97.32%. The weekly positivity rate continues to remain below 5%, currently standing at 2.08%, and the daily positivity rate stands at 2.61%. States Announce Official Links For CBSE Class 12 Board Results

After the Supreme Court cancelled the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, it was decided that the results will be declared by 31st July. Several states, including West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Goa, have declared the dates and officials links for the results. While the Goa board declared the results today, West Bengal will declare the results of Class 10 on 20th July and Class 12 on 23rd July. The Uttar Pradesh Board will also announce the results soon. Parliament's Monsoon Session: Congress Moves Adjournment Motion On Farmer's Protest

As the monsoon session of the Parliament began on Monday, Congress MP Manish Tewari moved an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha to discuss the ongoing farmer's protest. The Congress MP wrote to Lok Sabha Secretary-General: "I hereby give notice of my intention to ask for leave to move a motion for the adjournment of the business of the house for the purpose of discussing a definite matter of urgent importance, namely:- in large numbers. Farmers have come out against the three acts passed by the central government which threatens their livelihood," The MP added: "The government has failed to assuage the concerns of the farmers or present any viable alternative to these acts. The matter is of urgent importance, and I hereby request permission to raise this issue," The Aam Aadmi Party MP Bhagwant Singh Mann also tweeted that he would be moving an adjournment motion in Lok Sabha in favour of the farmers Andolan. Meanwhile, PM Modi said that the government wants the pandemic to be discussed on a priority basis during the monsoon session. Reports: Spyware Pegasus Used To Conduct Surveillance On Ministers, Journalists, Businessmen

The spyware Pegasus which is sold by the NSO group of Israel might have been used to conduct surveillance on around 300 Indians, including cabinet ministers, opposition leaders, journalists, scientists and government officials, according to the reports released by Paris-based media nonprofit organizations, Forbidden stories and Amnesty International. The Israeli company NSO group have made the spyware that is capable of extracting data from a phone, and the leaked database containing around 50,000 phone numbers has the names of several Indian journalists. However, if the hacking attempt on the numbers was successful or not can be proved only after a digital forensic analysis. Suvendu Adhikari: BJP Lost Bengal Elections Due To 'Overconfidence'

The Bhartiya Janata Party leader Suvendu Adhikari, on Sunday, said that the party lost the Bengal elections due to overconfidence of winning over 170 seats. The leader said: "As we did well in the first two poll phases in these parts of assembly segments, many of our leaders became smug and overconfident. They started believing that the BJP will secure 170-180 seats in the elections, but they did not do the groundwork. It's official: The Kapil Sharma Show is coming back to entertain you. The last season of the show went off-air on 31st January 2021. India Seals A Win Against Sri Lanka In The 1st ODI
